Asterisk PBX Developer

Our client based in Southern NJ has an excellent REMOTE opportunity for an Asterisk PBX Developer!

Responsibilities:

• Supervise installation and maintenance of communication systems.
• Adjust voice configurations to minimize communication disruptions.
• Provide training and support to telecommunications personnel.
• Investigate customer issues and design appropriate solutions.
• Operating system proficiency (Linux, Windows).
• Develop and expand features and products using a variety of programming languages.
• Review project requirements and write technical specifications.
• Debug, test, and fix errors.
• Document code development and revisions.
• Create and use software tools to help automate writing code.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in telecommunications, electrical engineering, or other related fields.
• Familiarity with telecommunications equipment.
• Previous experience in programming, software development, or other related fields.
• Knowledge of PHP, HTML, bash and or other programming languages.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL and SQL Server.
