C# / VB.Net Manager

Our client in the Bedminster area of NJ has an excellent opportunity for a C# / VB.Net Manager!

Responsibilities:

Manage staff and projects associated with new and existing web and desktop applications and services and be the technical coordinator for application development projects.
Support and enforce all company policies, regularly contribute to the success of business objectives, and build a successful team, showing a professional empathy that guides each employee to improve and progress in their career.
Schedule and assign application production.
Work with client departments to review project requests as needed.
Keep senior management informed of project status including GANTT charts or KanBan boards, Production Schedules, and related technology tools to support project management / milestone communication.
Handle annual reviews for direct reports.
Ensure appropriate documentation is maintained for all applications.
Ensure source code is backed up within a version control system such as Azure DevOps.
Responsible for internal and external applications, web sites, and APIs.
Guide, support, and aid in training both desktop and web application developers.
Supervise and evaluate developers at varying levels of expertise.
Handle business communications and interface with all areas of the company in support of web development initiatives.

Experience:

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or similar.
5+ years’ experience in Application Development.
5+ years’ experience in Project Management.
Web and desktop application development experience.
Project management experience.
Expertise in: NET; C #.Net, VB.NET; Oracle PL/SQL; Javascript and with Telerik Tools.
Web Service / API development.
Excel VSTO experience.
