Job Overview Our client in the Bedminster area of NJ has an excellent HYBRID opportunity for a C# / VB.Net Senior Programmer Analyst! In the office once… maybe twice a week. Responsibilities: Analyze, design, develop, test and support business critical solutions using Visual Studio and/or similar programming languages, Oracle design and development processes, supporting data structures and system level implementation methods and practices. Adhere to established coding standards and adapt to the software development methodologies. Work with business, developers and project leads to ensure software design meets business and technical requirements. Pursue solutions that reduce complexity, improve performance, and achieve business objectives. Research and learn new software and technologies and provide management with recommendations as needed. Communicate with business team, end users and senior management concerning technical problems and system enhancements; provide training, support and demos as needed. Troubleshoot code, data, and technical problems. Provide performance tuning and testing and the ability to implement technical features effectively. Must be able to transform business requirements into technical specs for documentation, testing and analysis. Review code of other staff members and provide guidance as needed. Participate in all aspects of software development including design, implementation, testing and error correction. Create and maintain documentation, including training and support materials. Collaborate effectively as a team member. Rotating On-Call Support and occasional weekend support is also required. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent related technical field experience. 8+ years’ experience working as a Visual Studio (C#, VB.NET) or similar discipline developer. 8+ years’ overall programming experience preferred. 6+ years’ experience with Oracle and SQL Server databases. Experience with architectures such as Web APIs, Microservices. SOA, WCF and others are a plus. Experience with 3rd party tools which includes but is not limited to supporting DLLs, Azure DevOps, AWS, Apache, Ecrion, Telerik, Infragistics, TX Text Control, etc. is a plus.
