Our client in New York City has an excellent opportunity for a Customer Support Associate!

 

Responsibilities:

  • Handle customer requests, by phone and online, for information about products and services.
  • Setup and administer customer accounts.
  • Process customer orders/changes/returns according to established policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to our ongoing efforts to improve policies and procedures.
  • Work with colleagues on resolving in-depth inquiries and solving problems.
  • Deliver ongoing input to management on trends and patterns regarding customers, prospects, products and services.

 

Requirements:

  • 1 – 3 years of experience in customer service, particularly on the phone and online.
  • Professional and courteous communication style.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Ease and grace in dealing with all kinds of people.
  • Comfort with negotiating.
  • Commitment to continual education about the company’s offerings.
  • Comfort in dealing with lots of moving parts.
  • The ability to learn quickly and move on to next challenge.
  • Problem-solving skills, and the ability to think under pressure.
  • Fluency with online tools and Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
