Job Overview

Our client in the Elizabeth area of NJ has an excellent opportunity for an Information Technology Asset Manager!

 

Hybrid role:  1 or 2 days in the office.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and managerial leadership to multiple IT functional areas.
  • Assign work, develop, and maintain project plan, perform resource management, develop time and cost estimates, monitor budget for area of responsibility and perform HR activities for team members.
  • Set priorities, and coordinate and report group activities and performance.
  • Responsible for the complete asset management lifecycle for hardware, software, and cloud-based services.
  • Prepare for and respond to all potential third-party software audits and major enterprise software agreements.
  • Fully manage the hardware procurement, recertification, and decommissioning processes. Responsible for all transition processes associated with onboarding and retiring third party managed services within infrastructure.
  • Responsible for the complete asset management lifecycle for all hardware, software, and cloud-based services (Procurement, Maintenance, and Retirement).
  • Manage IT vendor contracts to ensure timely, accurate delivery of services according to established performance levels.
  • Monitor internal and external technology trends and make recommendations for operating improvements.
  • Manage work in accordance with the IT Operating Model.
  • Accountable for maintaining effective internal controls over the processes and transactions under areas of responsibility including the completeness and accuracy of financial information and transactions, compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and the effectiveness and efficiency of operations.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing and implementing IT projects.
  • Experience with Asset Management Lifecycle.
  • SaaS (Software as a Service) Contracting experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience.
  • Broad knowledge of IT concepts, disciplines, best practices, and methodologies.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
