M&A (Mergers & Acquisitions) Manager

Job Overview

Our client in the Totowa area of NJ has an excellent opportunity for an M&A (Mergers & Acquisitions) Manager!

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and assist across all stages of the M&A lifecycle, including LOIs, cross-functional due diligence, documentation, closing, and integration.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across company to drive successful and thorough due diligence processes.
  • Liaise as appropriate with bankers, attorneys, and other transaction advisors to facilitate the execution of the M&A Pipeline.
  • Work with sellers to facilitate transactions.
  • Prepare Investment Committee Memos and assist in presenting as appropriate to Investment Committee and the Senior Management Team.
  • Provide support to M&A origination efforts through financial analysis, modeling, acquisition structuring, preparation of presentations, ad hoc analysis, business intelligence support, and organization / maintenance of large and growing M&A pipeline.
  • Provide strategic insight and analysis on new areas of interest to company’s Senior Management Team.
  • Develop, maintain, and own internal M&A “infrastructure” including financial models, synergy forecasting models, documentation templates, virtual data rooms, and all documentation, diligence, communications, and analyses related to transactions.
  • Comfortable with domestic travel as required.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Actual deal experience required.
  • Strong financial modeling and quantitative skills.
  • Strong administrative and organization skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity.
  • Demonstrated success in M&A due diligence.
  • Self-starter with initiative and discipline who can work independently.
  • 5 or more years of experience in M&A, investment banking and/or corporate development.
  • Strong commitment to results.
