Power BI Developer

Our client has an excellent opportunity for a Power BI Developer!

Responsibilities:

Build complex dimensional data models and reports from the bottom up.
Audit existing Power BI efforts with focus on improvement.
Collaborate with data team to engineer revolutionary companywide data solutions.
Create Ad Hoc and Enterprise Power BI Solutions.
Automation of existing reports’ dataflows, publishing, and push reporting.
Provide guidance to team members and establish the PowerBI Center of Excellence.

Requirements:

2-3 years working experience with data in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
Intermediate or better proficiency in DAX.
Solid understanding of relational databases and ETL concepts.
Working knowledge of Power Query.
Experience in row-level data security and report permissions/roles.
Proficiency in optimizing data models for performance.
Solid understanding of dimensional modeling concepts.
Microsoft Azure, PowerBI Embedded, and/or prior consulting experience preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.
PowerApps and/or LogicApps and PowerBI embedded experience preferred, but not required.
