Job Overview

Our client in the Lehigh Valley area of PA has an excellent opportunity for a Salesforce.com Senior Systems Analyst.

Responsibilities:
•Perform all tasks related to the day-to-day operations of a large implementation of Salesforce.com including managing users, creating and maintaining custom objects and fields, handling bulk data migration, maintenance of page layouts, and installation and support of app exchange applications.
•Design, document, build, test and deploy enhancements to custom objects, page layouts, workflows, alerts and notifications, email templates, triggers and workflows, reports, views and dashboards.
•Assist in the configuration and maintenance of “sandbox” environments to facilitate success development and QA testing of new on-demand features and functionality.
•Import and export data from other business systems.
•Create and maintain data integrity, reviewing data on a regular basis.
•Configure, maintain and support development sandbox and production environment.
•Build customized solutions within SalesForce.com and associated systems and integration points.
•Create and update training materials, develop and conduct training sessions and ongoing webinars for both new hires as well as continual education.
•Create and update users, maintain user hierarchy rules, roles, permission sets, and profiles to ensure system security.
•Design, create and deploy reports and dashboards to analyze key metrics, utilizing data from multiple sources.
•Develop and maintain user documentation and release communications.
•Provide end-user support for Salesforce.com environment.
•Perform system analysis which includes completing requirement definitions, interfacing with business groups and providing cost and benefit analysis.
•Review, plan, and implement Salesforce.com technologies. Troubleshoot systems and recommend improvements to the environment. Provide documentation and project tracking.
•Participate and at times lead new technology evaluations related to operating systems, hardware, management tools and methodologies. Identify alternative or new technologies and assist in defining new global and regional IT standards.
•Develop and coordinate regional and global project efforts. Serve as project leader on assigned projects.
•Provide tactical and strategic input on computing infrastructure and computer system project plans.
•Define and revise SOPs and system validation plans as required to meet corporate business needs and support the company’s validation requirements.
•Prepare project status reports to inform management to project progression. Identify any issues, which need to be escalated for resolution or assistance.
•Assist in developing capital and operating budget plans.

Requirements:
•Build customized solutions within SalesForce.com and associated systems and integration points.
•Develop and maintain business requirements, end user documentation and release communications. Experience working with the business discovery, design and implementations.
•Assist in the configuration and maintenance of “sandbox” environments to facilitate success development and QA testing of new on-demand features and functionality. Proficient in tasks required to promote tested functionality from sandbox into a production environment.
•Assist in Release Management – Previous Salesforce.com administration experience working in an org with the following: at least 400 seats/user licenses, profiles, roles, work flow rules, sandboxes; APEX classes/triggers.
•Experience with enterprise integration tools and Salesforce data loader.
•Create and maintain data integrity, maintain regular data backups, reviewing data on a regular basis.
•Configure, maintain and support development sandbox and production environment.
•Extensive experience handling all aspects of CRM (Account, Contact, Opportunity management) and platform maintenance.
•Demonstrated technical aptitude for, and experience supporting, client-server and/or web-based applications and SaaS solutions.
•Knowledge of Custom and Standard Controllers, Triggers, Classes. Extensive knowledge and experience with developing applications using Apex, VisualForce, HTML and Javascript technologies.
•Expert knowledge of SOQL, Workflows and approvals.
•Excellent project management skills with ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks across various user groups. Excellent written and verbal communication.
•Knowledge of Windows server and client operating systems as it relates to supporting the environment.
•Knowledge of Field service management system Servicemax a plus.
•Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or related field.
•7 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Ability to define and explain work methods.
•Must maintain confidentiality of proprietary, financial and personal data.
•Must be willing to travel for business and work overtime when necessary.
•Must be willing to carry a cell phone/smart phone and provide after hour support as needed.
