Job Overview Our client in the Old Bridge area of NJ has an excellent opportunity for a SAP Business / System Analyst! Responsibilities: Lead daily standup reviewing incidents, demands, and enhancements for merchandising, advertising, and store functionality (Price Management, Order Management, etc.). Manage enhancements and small projects. Define/execute solution roadmap by understanding company’s entire solution and collaborating with IT/business leaders. Maintain and improve organization’s effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing technologies. Collaborate with business users and co-op members on future business needs (demands) and technologies. Research business problems and develop solutions that address needs. Develop estimates, timelines, and resource requirements for business requests (projects or enhancements). Meet with business users/members to compile and clarify specific requirements of each demand/enhancement/project. Analyze, document, and manage enhancement/project requirements. Define, manage, and control scope of the enhancement/project. Execution of an enhancement or project according to requirements. Work closely with business, functional, and development teams to ensure business needs are identified and met. Ensure solutions are meeting business users’ expectations and build a rapport throughout the enhancement or project. Perform root-cause analysis and remediate risk of re-occurrence of business problems. Provide coaching and guidance to team members. Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree. Must have 3+ years of experience as business analyst and/or system analyst. Must have 2+ years of experience with SAP modules preferably in SD, MM, FI, CAR, PMR. 1+ years of experience in product management or project management preferred. Detailed knowledge of Master Data and its implications. Understand of SAP configuration and backend tables. Experience creating business requirement documents. Experience gathering functional and technical requirements along with creating process flows. Experience conducting End-to-End Testing. Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple enhancements/projects simultaneously and independently, while maintaining attention to detail and adapting to changing environments. Ability to think strategically and creatively in leading small teams through obstacles and/or finding best path forward. Ability to adjust quickly to schedule changes and priorities. Excellent time management, decision making, presentation, organization, and interpersonal skills. Excellent problem-solving skills including the ability to resolve problems in a timely manner.
