Job Overview

Our client in the Parsippany area of NJ has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Salesforce Director!  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and/or independently and lead a Salesforce.com development team to support a platform technology and IT / 3rd party integrations.
  • Provide and approve technical design, integration architecture, solution recommendations, ROM estimates and detailed requirements.
  • Develop and deliver the Salesforce technology roadmap to enable all owner and business strategy for the company.
  • Remain current on new Salesforce features and functionality and provide recommendations for technology and process improvement.
  • Develop technical solutions addressed by Business Stakeholders that will impact external owners and company sales and service operations.
  • Salesforce development will primarily be capitalized and managed thru the IT Project Management Demand process and tracked thru Clarity.

 

Requirements:

  • Detailed knowledge of Salesforce.com Sales, Service and Marketing Clouds, Communities and Lightning.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Integration concepts using Soap or Rest API Web Services to various IT Systems (Salesforce to Salesforce, Adobe, Oracle, Sharepoint).
  • Experience managing technical staff.
  • Strong understanding of Relational Databases and ETL integration (My SQL, Oracle, Informatica, Salesforce Connector).
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong focus and a capacity to collaborate with partners to troubleshoot and optimize processes.
  • Ability to analyze and creatively solve complex business and technical problems.
  • Ability to lead and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Work in partnership with operational teams / IT to provide input to the company strategic plan.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and build solid relationships with individuals at all levels, in multiple geographies and business functions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate decisions and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and concise manner.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Number of years of experience: 7+ Salesforce; 10+ business.
  • Salesforce certifications (Administrator and Developer preferred).
  • High proficiency in CRM software & SFDC platforms within a corporate environment.
  • Must have a strong background in project development delivery.
  • Evaluate 3rd party solutions and AppExchange packages based on company initiatives.
  • Highly proficient knowledge with Windows applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
