Our client in the Holmdel area of NJ has an excellent opportunity for a Customer Due Diligence (CDD) Supervisor! This is an onsite position.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and analyze background checks, lease summaries, risk assessments, and ongoing monitoring of customers to ensure compliance as well as preparing legal documents.
- Supervise the onboarding team; conduct weekly cross-departmental status meetings; communicate with prospective customers, other departments, and attorneys; and escalate complex issues to senior management.
- Work closely with the business development department to gather, organize, and review all information necessary for onboarding a store into the Co-Operative.
- Analyze Judgement/Lien searches to determine if a prospective store is a good fit for the Co-Operative.
- Prepare and/or review checklists to submit for approval by the loan committee and CFO.
- Draft and/or review Membership and Security Documents for approved prospective stores.
- Perform annual UCC and collateral audits. Request and obtain updated information.
- Work with the loan committee, prospective customers, and attorneys to prepare and ensure execution of required documents (membership, security, guarantees, CAOLs, UCC filings, etc.)
- Facilitate re-finances with bank intercreditor agreements.
- Meet deadlines for store closings and openings by working with legal counsel, business development and prospective members.
- Prepare documents for financial statement and bank audits.
- Act as a point of escalation for onboarding and resolve issues that arise during the due diligence process.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 3-5 years of commercial customer due diligence preferred.
- Meticulous attention to detail for document review and record-keeping.
- Experience in organizing projects under deadlines and completing tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
- Advanced Excel and Word skills. Understanding of PowerPoint.
