IT Systems Operations Manager

Our client in the Tappan area of NY has an excellent opportunity for an IT Systems Operations Manager! You must be onsite 5 days a week.

Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate and execute IT projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Develop and implement robust incident response procedures to minimize downtime and address technical issues promptly.
• Work closely with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and align IT projects with organizational goals.
• Communicate project updates, risks, and successes to stakeholders at various levels.
• Allocate resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
• Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Implement risk management plans to minimize disruptions to project timelines and objectives.
• Ensure that IT projects meet established quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation processes to guarantee the reliability of deliverables.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and post-project evaluations.

Requirements:

• Must have a strong understanding of IT systems.
• Must have hands-on experience with software development using .NET and SQL.
• Must have experience working with ERP systems, Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferably.
• Experience coding programs with X++, a plus
• Proven track record in a managerial role.
• Working in manufacturing environments is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
