Mechanical Drafter / CAD Operator

Our client in the Dallas area of TX has an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Drafter / CAD Operator! 

Responsibilities:

• Drafting/utilizing Autodesk Inventor to design Food Service/Kitchen Equipment type products.
• Estimating/quoting a variety of Food Service/Kitchen type products.
• Work with Sales and Customers in the Food Service Industry on designs, specifications, and prototypes to suit their application needs.

Requirements:

• Relevant degree preferred. Extensive on-the-job experience in a similar environment may substitute for formal education.
• Experience with equipment used to cut, bend, join and finish ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
• Knowledge of the Food Service Industry Equipment required.
• Two years of quoting/estimating and drafting preferred.
• Two years of Autodesk Inventor /AutoCAD or equivalent experience required.
• Knowledge of Epicor. Proficiency with other ERP packages may be considered.
• Generalist approach to the field with a willingness to research and execute projects with a very “hands-on” approach.
• Work with personnel at all levels of the organization in a diplomatic yet assertive way to achieve the solutions that are best for the Company.
• Monitor product documentation for accuracy and make necessary corrective actions.
