eDiscovery (Electronic Discovery) Project Manager

Job Overview

Our client in the Hempstead area of NY has an excellent opportunity for an eDiscovery (Electronic Discovery) Project Manager!  It’s a hybrid role where you have to be onsite 3 days a week. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in client calls and coordinate collection of ESI from clients.
  • Process ESI for delivery to document review databases.
  • Coordinate processing of ESI by vendors.
  • Create and manage document review databases (both in-house and vendor-hosted).
  • Train and provide technical support for attorneys and paralegals in the use of document review databases.
  • Consult with attorneys on eDiscovery best practices.
  • Set and manage case team expectations.
  • Prepare document productions according to instructions in ESI stipulations, subpoenas, or document demands.
  • Analyze received productions and alert case team of any issues.

 

 

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of litigation support experience in a law firm; managerial experience a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with eDiscovery applications, both ESI processing and document review/production.
  • Thorough understanding of the EDRM and typical litigation support workflows and process requirements.
  • Experience with Relativity and IPRO is required.
  • Experience with Scripting and MS-Access is a plus.
  • Experience with Information Governance and various FTP software.
  • Working knowledge of VM environment.
  • Flexibility to be available after hours to assist with eDiscovery issues and deadlines.
