Job Overview

Our client in the Woodbridge area of NJ has an excellent opportunity for a Java / J2EE Developer.

Responsibilities:
•Participate in all phases of a project’s development cycle, from the feasibility study through the production implementation.
•Support the Mobile App.
•Develop microservices that will be used to provide data the e-commerce platform.
•Keep up with developments / roadmaps, automate testing and development of software modules to a high-quality standard.
•Participate in peer reviews, debug and solve complex problems either individually or within a team and work with the team to offer continuous improvement.

Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (6 years).
•4+ years of experience with web application and/or native mobile development and design .
•4+ years of practical Java / J2EE experience.
•4+ years of experience using SQL Server or equivalent RDB, working with stored procedures and functions.
•Experience working with and developing Web Services (REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, Ajax) Web Applications.
•Working knowledge of Mobile Web Development including feature support and performance issues.
•Experience with HTML5 / CSS / JavaScript.
•Experience with popular web application frameworks (Angular, React) preferred.
•Skill for writing reusable libraries.
•Familiar with various design and architectural patterns.
•Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code.
•Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application.
•Experience creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.
•Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
•Proficient understanding of code versioning tools.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
