Job Overview

Our client in the Bedminster area of NJ has an excellent opportunity for a Website Manager!  You are expected to be in the office one or two days a week.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Overall management of employee intranet and external facing public websites for user access / account management, e-commerce, domain management, content management and select social media channels to promote the company brand and offerings. Work with business units across offices to meet business needs / requirements, ensure proper approvals are acquired and work with IT on technology trends, needs and releases. Manage a team, consisting of a Project Manager and Senior Digital Marketing Specialist.
  • Document roadmaps, functionality, navigation, and design for easy-to-use websites.
  • Responsible to ensure site functionality, design, and navigation to meet business and user needs; ensure content is kept up to date to deliver timely and quality information both internally and externally.
  • Collaborate closely with all related business units and management to understand business needs / requirements and achieve the desired results to improve user experience and extend brand awareness. Ensure proper approvals are acquired from business teams.
  • Collect, analyze, and report on Web traffic and visitor behavior.
  • Update pages and coordinate content management with marketing and business team members.
  • Enhance and grow the organization’s web presence through search engine optimization.
  • Subject matter expert on best practices for Content Management System.
  • Manage domains, including ownership and usage to implement best practices in relation to search engine optimization (SEO). Handle acquisition, termination, and consolidation of domain portfolio.
  • Review, analyze, and approve social media posts, schedules, reporting and provide reports on content management, statistics, and traffic to adapt to usage patterns and ensure high visibility.
  • Determine social media plans to optimize company presence and lead generation activities on select social media channels.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, IS / IT, or equivalent related discipline.
  • 5 plus years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience creating clear, easy to navigate, informative, accurate and functional websites.
  • Demonstrated success with SEO improvements and related tactics.
  • Experience leveraging social media for lead generation and / or branding awareness.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, SQL, SharePoint, Google Analytics, Sitefinity or other Content Management Systems (CMS).
