Job Overview

Our client in the Bedminster area of NJ has an excellent HYBRID opportunity for a Lead IT QA Testing Analyst!

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all aspects of the testing life cycle including analyzing and testing software and on-line services to ensure proper functionality and error-free internal and external products.
  • Ensure all products and services meet approved specifications and are released according to production schedules.
  • Additional activities include creating and maintaining automation scripts for regression and API testing.
  • Distribute assignments within the team, estimate testing time requirements and maintain QA production schedule/priorities.
  • Train team members by documenting research practices.
  • Coordinate and oversee special projects and the proofing of new products.
  • Communicate performance issues of QA team members for assigned projects to management.
  • Engage with project managers, business analysts and application developers to test functionality that exercise all critical system points for software and internal/external applications.
  • Conduct API and Mobile application testing.
  • Design/review/enforce testing methods.
  • Create and document testing strategies for features and regression.
  • Create and maintain automation scripts for regression testing.
  • Review test output and document results including follow-up on identified problems.
  • Communicate product issues with developers.
  • Analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems/processes for our customers.
  • Create, track and verify Workfront issues to report product errors.
  • Update Workfront percentages and Status Sheets for task assignments.
  • Manage multiple projects of varied complexity simultaneously.
  • Analyze and implement ways to improve QA procedures.
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations.

 

Experience:

  • 5+ years’ in software Quality Assurance experience detailing test plans, test cases, tracking defects, reporting status to various levels in the organization.
  • Test automation background in either UI or API driven frameworks.
  • Experience generating, updating, and running Selenium test scripts and using Workfront to track bugs.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding and changing environment.
  • Knowledge of cross platform/browser compatibility testing methodologies.
  • Experience testing within multiple project management methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Experience maintaining/developing TestComplete (Test Complete) scripts using Python or JavaScript.
  • High level of independence and an ability to work well under pressure.
  • Must have strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to interact with team members and product developers.
  • Organized and able to prioritize various responsibilities.
  • Must have technical experience screening, triaging, and categorizing defects.
  • Knowledge of web accessibility best practices and optimization.
  • Strong understanding of QA principles, inspection techniques and testing procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word).
