Job Overview Our client in the Bedminster area of NJ has an excellent HYBRID opportunity for a .Net Sr. Programmer Analyst! In the office once… maybe twice a week. Responsibilities: Work on new and existing web-based applications, APIs, and legacy desktop applications. Work as part of a project team concerning critical web-based and desktop applications in .NET via Visual Studio. Analyze technical requirements and pursue technology solutions to improve performance and achieve business objectives. Work on tasks/projects for our web-based and desktop applications. Create database structures that fit business requirements and perform optimally. Build and maintain SQL objects such as Oracle packages and stored procedures. Use coding techniques that promote security, maintainability, testability, and good error handling. Estimate length of time for tasks, given known business requirements. Write unit tests that verify business requirements, provide coverage, and assert desired behavior. Work with Azure DevOps Git repositories, creating branches and providing pull requests. Troubleshoot problems providing root cause, recommended long term fixes. Aid in the evaluation of new technical solutions. Handle automation of builds and releases in Azure DevOps. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Programming or similar field of study. Five plus years’ experience in Application Development is required. Strong application programming using Microsoft .NET with five plus years’ experience with ASP.NET with SQL Server or Oracle databases. Eight plus years of work-related experience is a requirement.
