QA Automation Test Analyst

Our client in the Parsippany area of NJ has an excellent opportunity for an Automation Test Analyst!

Responsibilities:

Analyze, define, and agree on the implementation of automated test processes within individual project teams.
Work as part of a test team to deliver new releases, discuss and prioritize defects and ensure problem resolution/escalation.
Identify the test automation requirements for new and existing projects.
Maintenance of regression test packs and end-to-end testing framework including the associated test cases.
Communicate Test results to the appropriate teams.
Must be able to write test cases and run them.
Documentation of all user requirements.
Implementation and execution of automated testing program/solutions.
Assist Developer and Users throughout the development process (i.e., work with users to solve front line supporting issues).
Test Planning and execution for both Desktop and Internet applications.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in an IT related field, or 7+ years’ experience.
Minimum of 2 + years in preparing Test Plans, Cases, Scenario Reports.
Must have experience with setting up automated tests for both Desktop and Web Applications developed in ASP.Net/C# or Java.
Must have experience with a modern object-oriented programming language.
Experience writing unit tests in a modern object-oriented programming language.
Must have experience working through business requirements to create test plans as well as find gaps in requirements.
Must be able to clearly document completed Test results.
Ability to write SQL Queries and understand database structures.
<5% domestic and international travel required.
