Our client in the Frankford area of NJ has an excellent opportunity for a System Administrator! It’s a hybrid role where you have to be onsite 3 days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Installs, maintains, upgrades, repurposes, and disposes of corporate computing equipment, software, phone systems, printers, and network infrastructure, along with supporting users in various ways described below.
- Installs, configures, and supports software applications.
- User administration, password resets, and other Help Desk tasks.
- Effectively communicates with external and internal users to resolve issues with profiles, permissions, authentication, access, applications, etc.
- Develops and maintains documentation such as user guides, asset inventories, etc.
- With guidance of a senior resource, investigates and provides recommendations for hardware/peripheral/supplies purchases. Maintains on-hand inventory.
- Performs other tasks as required.
- Works closely with internal teams such as Infrastructure, Security, Help Desk, and Customer Service.
- Works with external users to assist with problem resolution and configuration.
- Expected to be a backup for team members.
Requirements:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Computer Science or related field.
- 1-3 years’ experience in a system admin/customer support role.
- Experience supporting Windows and Active Directory platforms, Webex Calling, Intune, M365, VMware, and Citrix.
