VB.Net Programmer Analyst

Our client in the Bedminster area of NJ has an excellent opportunity for a VB.Net Programmer Analyst!

Responsibilities:

Knowledge of coding techniques, algorithms, and structures.
Handle challenging tasks, from a logic perspective as opposed to a syntax perspective. Should also have strong working knowledge of one or more language or tool set.
Strong understanding of IIS and how web sites are created.
Able to develop web applications, web services/APIs, and desktop applications.
Handle tasks/projects developed for our internal and external web sites and web applications.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent related technical field experience.
Experience with writing code and developing applications. Also able to participate in discussion on how to best integrate and react to a changing hardware / software environment.
Experience in VB.NET, C#, .NET Core, Blazor, Web APIs, Oracle PL/SQL, IIS, XML, JSON, and Oracle PLSQL.
3 to 5 years’ experience in Windows / web-based application development and API development.
Experience with Dapper, API management, and Containers is a plus.
Business experience that shows the ability to work with a moderate level of independence; making appropriate decisions for both production and development responsibilities with direct support of their supervisor.
Ability to accept changes in application scope or direction with a high degree of professionalism.
Ability to work with other programmers in a team environment and collaborate with peer business units on solutions.
Manage more than one project at the same time and deliver solutions on-time and within expected deadlines.
